Capacity is not the same as choice
The checked defaults are three moves and three vitamin slots. The Lab lists a fourth move slot for 1,500 Stardust and two additional vitamin slots costing 1,200 then 3,000 Stardust.
Fourth option is a different Lab upgrade: it changes level-up offers to four choices and is configured at 3,000 Stardust. None of those purchases was made during this review.
A discovered item may still need a purchase
Some item research entries have a progress requirement followed by a Stardust cost. Reaching the requirement is not automatically the same as adding that item to the available pool.
Even when an item becomes available, that does not guarantee it will be in the next box or shop. This preview provides no optimal spending order or measured farming rate.
Follow an item through each state
First check whether the item’s discovery requirement is met. Next check whether it still has a research purchase, then whether you have placed it in Archive. An eligible, purchased and unarchived item is still not guaranteed to appear in the next box or shop.
For example, the reviewed Repel research entry lists 3 completed runs and a 150-Stardust price. Those are configured gates, not proof of a purchase or a drop. Only 35 entries in the reviewed item data have research gates; do not apply this sequence to every item automatically.
Budget only the levels you still need
Vitamin slots cost 1,200 then 3,000 Stardust in this snapshot. Going from level 0 to 2 totals 4,200; going from level 1 to 2 costs only 3,000. With 2,000 on hand, that second case leaves a 1,000 shortfall.
The calculator below adds configured costs between your current and target levels. Compare the price shown in your game before buying. It does not rank upgrades, estimate farming time or make a purchase.
Watch the scope of an upgrade
Banish removes an upgrade option for the rest of the current run. Archive manages exclusions from the item pool and is a separate system.
A vitamin also uses the name Stardust and is configured to increase area. That run effect is distinct from the account currency spent in the Lab. Read the context before comparing the two.
